Location:
From the Hancock County Courthouse, take Highway 15 southeast for 1.9 miles. Turn left on Shoal Rd. Go approximately 8.2 miles to a property on the left side of the road where there is a chain-link fence and gate. Drive through the gate and go 0.2 mile across the field to the silos. Bear right past the silos and go 0.2 mile across the field to the orange gate in the far corner of the field. Go through the gate and walk/drive north 0.2 mile to the far left corner of the field. The cemetery is on the edge of the field in the woods.

According to its GPS location, the cemetery is 1/2 mile northeast and directly behind the houses on Shoals Rd.

The cemetery is called Wilson or Sophia Carr because William L. Wilson left the property to his daughter Sophia Millicent Wilson, her children and John Carr her husband.
